STOCKING A POND?

Interested in developing a pond full of trophy size bass, catfish and crappie? You’ll need not only to stock that pond up well with the fish. But you’ll also need to stock the forage (food) .

Fathead female minnows spawn weekly, depositing 200 to 500 eggs per a spawn. Some females may lay up to 4,000 eggs per a season. Stock 2 to 3 pounds of fathead minnows per an acre and in little to no time at all you will have a pond that only dreams are made of……
